Plans

Free start

Arlo works at a slow pace on purpose: you see what it would do hired, on real companies, before you pay anything.

Freeno card, nothing renews

Arlo finds 5 companies; you pick 2 of them for its emails. The free start runs 14 days from your pick, then ends by itself.

  • 5 companies that fit, each with the reasons from its own website; the 3 you don’t pick stay in the app, without emails
  • One email a day to one of the 2 you picked, on weekdays, up to 3 per company; the first goes out only once you approve it
  • Replies answered, stop requests honoured
  • About 5 more companies found meanwhile, an email to you for each; they wait under Companies, Arlo writes to none of them
  • Everything Arlo learned stays; hiring lifts every limit

Sign in with your email; that is all it takes.

What a new company is, and what isn’t counted

A new company
A company Arlo found for you and checked against your focus, with at least one contact and the reasons from its own website. It counts once Arlo starts working on it.
Not counted
Companies you mark “Not a fit”, and your existing customers, which Arlo leaves out of the search from the start. Follow-ups, replies and meetings aren’t counted either: the limit is companies, not emails.
Up to
120 a month is a ceiling, not a promise. In a small market Arlo finds fewer, spreads them out so it learns from the first replies, and tells you how far the market goes.
The mailbox
One mailbox per Arlo, at most 50 emails a day, so your sender reputation holds; a new mailbox starts slower. A second mailbox is a second Arlo.

What people ask before they start

Do I need a card for the free start?
No. You sign in with your email, Arlo finds the first companies, and you pick the ones it writes to. Nothing renews, and nothing is charged until an owner hires Arlo.
Why is the free start so slow?
On purpose. Arlo writes to 2 companies, one email a day on weekdays, and finds about 5 more in 14 days without writing to them, so you see each step of its work before you pay. Hired, it writes to every company that fits, up to 50 emails a day, and finds up to 120 a month.
What ends after the free start, and what stays?
After the 14 days, Arlo stops looking and sends no further emails. Replies and stop requests are still handled. The companies it found and everything it learned stay; when you hire Arlo, it carries on where it left off and writes to the ones that fit.
How do I cancel?
In the billing portal, any time. Monthly runs to the end of the month you cancel in; yearly runs to the end of the year, and nothing renews after that.
VAT and invoices
Prices exclude VAT. Payment and invoices run through Stripe; the contracting party is the operator of Arlo in Zürich, Switzerland, as named on the billing page in the app.
Who in the team can hire Arlo?
An owner of your account. Members work with Arlo; owners decide on money and on what Arlo may promise.
My market is small
You pay per Arlo, not per company. Arlo paces itself to your market and says so, instead of padding the list with companies that don’t fit.

Start with what you have.

A deck, a link, a few sentences. Arlo reads them, asks what’s missing and shows you the first companies. Nobody is contacted until you say so.
